Originally hailing from Deniliquin in the Riverina area of NSW, Nic fell in love with journalism thanks to the University of Wollongong student newspaper.

Despite doing a degree in psychology he quickly found himself in the world of magazine editing, helming a diverse range of titles from motoring to music through to video gaming and technology.

After making the transition to the world of online reporting he fell in love with radio thanks to a regular tech news segment on Radio Australia with Phil Kafcaloudes.

Some volunteer work with community radio led to a breakfast slot in Sydney, Karratha, Dubbo and now Shepparton.
